SCGA members are now required to create a Digital Profile to access GHIN.com or the USGA GHIN Mobile app with a unique email address.
In addition, when accessing GHIN.com or the USGA GHIN Mobile App there will be a create profile link/opportunity. For GHIN.com and the USGA GHIN Mobile App, two of three items will need to be verified to create the Digital Profile: GHIN Number, Name, email address. (Exception: Golfers under 12 years). Please see below for instructions on creating a Digital Profile on GHIN.com and the USGA GHIN Mobile App.
Once a golfer has logged into GHIN.com, they can update their profile (including email, address and phone number) under My Profile in the upper right corner. Click my profile and edit the information as needed.
Creating a Digital Profile on USGA GHIN Mobile App
1. Download the GHIN Mobile App from your App store (Apple users) or the Google Play store (Android Users).
2. Once the golfer verifies the information, an email will be sent to the member to complete registration. Follow the instructions in the email to create your password and accept the Terms of Agreement. Create password and complete. Digital Profile setup is now complete, and the golfer can now login with email/GHIN and the password created.
Editing Profile on USGA GHIN Mobile App
Under the GHIN App, profile changes can be made by clicking on More; then My Profile:
** Please note, creation of a Digital Profile will NOT prevent golfers from posting scores. Alternatively, golfers who are not engaging with the mobile app or GHIN.com can still post scores on the Kiosk or contact their club admin to post a score on their behalf.
** Club Admins that have access to the USGA Admin Portal will use the same password used for the Admin Portal to log into GHIN.com once the Digital Profile has been created.
