If you have club members who have dual membership with the SCGA and Golf Canada, the member can have their records linked allowing scores to flow in both directions regardless of where they are posted. The score only needs to be posted once for those who are active members of both organizations.
This only applies to scores posted after the linking is complete; it does not retroactively sync scoring records.
Here's how to link Golf Canada IDs and SCGA
- Obtain your member's Golf Canada Network ID (6-7 digits), which is different than their Golf Canada Membership number. If the member cannot provide a Golf Canada Network ID, the member will need to provide the name of their club and province so we can locate it.
- Contact the SCGA at membership@scga.org with the member's GHIN number, their Golf Canada Network ID, any other relevant information, and request linking.
- The SCGA will contact Golf Canada to complete the process and then contact the club once the link has been completed.
