Beginning January 2020, the age for an SCGA member to be considered a junior golfer for billing purposes will be changed to 18 years of age. The SCGA will not charge a club (or its member) if the member has a date of birth in the SCGA database that meets this requirement.
Please make sure that any golfers meeting the junior age requirement have an accurate date of birth in the player's SCGA record. The date of birth can be accessed and edited in Golf Nations. A list of all members and their dates of birth can be accessed in GHIN Reports in the Club Roster, making sure that Date of Birth is in the Display Columns section.
For clubs using the SCGA eCommerce Portal for membership, we have modified the junior discount settings to reflect this change to 18 years of age.
